Performers recreate an important Inca ceremony while large crowds watch.

It celebrates the lives, knowledge and traditions of the country’s highland communities.Visitors can see traditional songs, dances, local games and displays involving animals such as yaks. Takayama Festival, Japan:

The Takayama Festival is held twice each year, during spring and autumn. Zermatt Unplugged is an acoustic music festival held in the car-free Swiss mountain village of Zermatt. Concerts take place in different settings, from large stages to smaller and more personal venues.The performances focus on live voices and instruments rather than heavy production. Visitors can walk through the village, attend several concerts and enjoy views of the Matterhorn.
